Mrs. Oree Ritter (Photo)

  Mrs. Oree Ritter, 78, died Saturday, July 25, at Willis
Knighton.

  Funeral services were held at 4 p.m., Monday, July 2, at Mt.
Zion Baptist Church, with interment following at Mt. Zion
Cemetery. The Rev. Mike McLauren officiated.

  Survivors include her husband, William Ritter of Shreveport;
three sons, Charles Ritter of Shreveport, Mike Ritter of
Haughton, and Kenneth Ritter of Quinlan, Texas; four daughters,
Mildred Ritter of Many, Billie J. Whitfield of Shreveport,
Marcille Lehr of Zwolle, and Sue Peshoff of Lake Charles; one
brother, Tommy Charles Neal of Broken Bow, Okla.; 13
grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and
nephews; and a host of friends. Mrs. Ritter was preceded in death
by her parents, Thomas and Beulah Neal; one brother, Marvin Neal;
one sister, Mildred Scarbough; and two grandchildren, Byron, and
Carlton Lehr.
