Mr. E. P. Ritter

  Mr. E. P. Ritter Sr., born September 2, 1889, in Columbia,
Louisiana, died Sunday, October 15, 1961, in Alexandria,
Louisiana, following a lengthy illness.

  Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church, Many,
Louisiana, Monday, at 2 p.m., Oct. 16, with Dr. Kelly Fitzgerald
officiating.

  Interment was in the Many Cemetery, with Warren Funeral Home,
and Masonic rites.

  Survivors include his widow; one son, E. L. Ritter Jr., Baton
Rouge, La.; one daughter, Mrs. Edwin E. Teal, Clovis, New Mexico;
brother, J. H. Ritter, Many, La.; sister, Mrs. Fannie Pilgrim,
Beaumont, Texas; and four grandchildren.
