Burial was at Ft. Jesup Cemetery. Rev. C. J. Walea officiated. Services were under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers were Sam Fulco Jr., Richard Fulco, Bill Ebarb, Kelvin Matthews, Bobby Roberts, and Kenneth Franks, Sr. Mrs. Rutherford is survived by her husband, Dewey C. Rutherford of Many; four sons, Dewey V. Rutherford of Hornbeck, Jimmie Rutherford of Florien, Edward Rutherford of Ebarb, Rodney Rutherford of Converse; three daughters, Nell Ebarb of Shreveport, Martha Fulco of Wichita, Kansas, Linda Matthews of Florien; one brother, Frank Huber of Fouke, Ark.; one sister, Lena Brown of Many; one half sister, Lucille Griffith of San Antonio, Texas; one half brother, Glen Huber of Texas; 21 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren. Mrs. Rutherford died Monday, Sept. 26, at Sabine Medical Center in Many, after an extended illness. She was 75 years of age.
