Dewey C. Rutherford

  Funeral services for Mr. Dewey C. Rutherford, 83, were held at 3
p.m., Wednesday, August 5, 1992, in Many United Pentecostal
Church. The Reverends Gordon Simmons, James Stringer, and Ernie
Huber officiated over the services. Interment followed in Ft.
Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Mr. Rutherford died Monday, August 3, 1992, at Sabine Medical
Center in Many.

  He is survived by four sons, Dewey Rutherford of Hornbeck, Jimmy
Rutherford of Florien, Ray Rutherford of Noble, and Rodney
Rutherford of Converse; three daughters, Martha Fulco of Wichita,
Kansas, Nell Ebarb of Shreveport, and Linda Matthews of Florien;
23 grandchildren; and 32 great grandchildren.

  He was preceded in death by his wife, Lollie Rutherford; and a
son, Charles Rutherford.

  Pallbearers were Terry Rutherford, Dennis Rutherford, Kelvin
Matthews, Bobby Roberts, Jerry Ebarb, and Larry Lockwood.
