Thell Rowell

  Thell Rowell, 60, of Winnfield, died Wednesday, March 28, in
Jackson, after a sudden illness.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 29, in
Southern Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Joe Plunkett, and the
Rev. Dwight Dell officiating. Burial followed in the Couley
Cemetery in Winnfield.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ina Rowell of Winnfield; one
son, John Rowell of Houston; two daughters, Mrs. James Maxey of
Clarence, and Mrs. James Givens of Haughton; eight brothers,
Thedore Rowell, Ted Rowell, Travis Rowell, and Thee Rowell all of
Winfield, Talton Rowell of Zwolle, T. J. Rowell of Urania, Truman
Rowell of Baton Rouge, and Thurmond Rowell of Weatherford, Texas;
and with grandchildren.
