All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Louis Henry Rowell Services for Mr. Louis Henry Rowell, 62, of Heflin, were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 1, at the Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Fryeburg, La., where he was a member. The Rev. Doug Merriman, and the Rev. Cedrick Hendrick officiated. Burial was at Little Hope Cemetery at Castor, La., under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, La. Mr. Rowell died at 4:30 a.m., Thursday, January 30, 1986, at Riverside Community Hospital, after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Bienville Parish, La., and had lived in the Heflin area since 1962. He was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Mary Rowell of Heflin; two sons, Louis Lynn Rowell of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. Johnnie Preuett, and Donna Hedrick of Heflin; two sisters, Mrs. Kitty Sonnier of Many, and Mrs. Lacy Davis of Arcadia; two brothers, Currie Rowell of Bienville, and Boyd Rowell of Heflin; seven grandchildren. Pallbearers were Lewis Brunson, Bobby Rowell, Daigle Mathews, Fred Sullivan, Huey Ramsey, and Dallas Bates.
