Rowell, 80, of Pineville, were held Friday, June 21, 1996, at 2 p.m., in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville, with Rev. A. Ray Faulk officiating. Interment was at Alexandria Memorial Park. Mr. Rowell passed away Wednesday, June 19, at 7:10 p.m., in Dubois Hospital for Continuing Care, Alexandria. He was a native of Woodworth, La., U.S. Army veteran of World War II; member of Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1736, Alexandria, and was a carpenter with Missouri Pacific Railroad. Survivors include his wife, Maxine Belgard Rowell of Pineville; three sons, Ledale Beaubouef of Toledo Bend, Chris Rowell, and Craig Rowell, both of Woodworth; one daughter, Lynn Morse of Woodworth; two brothers, Charlie Rowell of Houston, and W. L. James of Pineville; two sisters, Mary Fordham of Woodworth, and Ruby Northcutt of Alexandria; nineteen grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
