Rials 15 Apr 1955 - Funeral services for George W. Rials, 90, who passed away at 5:40 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Florence Lefeat was conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 14, at the Vowells Mill Baptist church with Rev. E. E. Dees officiating. Interment was in Cebran Cemetery under the direction of Rockett Funeral Home of Coushatta. Mr. Rials was a retired farmer and merchant of Natchitoches and Sabine parish. He was born in Hazelhurst, Miss. He came to Natchitoches and settled at Vowells Mill at the age of 16. Lived there until 10 years ago when he moved to Many and later was forced to retire because of ill health. Survivors include: Three daughters, Mrs. Florence Lefeat of Many, Mrs. Annie Geter of Longview, Texas; Mrs. Nora Harrison of Baton Rouge; five sons, John, Provencal; C. A., Jack and Ben, Many; C. M. of Beaumont; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Gandy, Mrs. Dollie Graham, 27 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.
