Robert Jackson Rawls

  Services for Mr. Robert Jackson Rawls, 83, of Robeline, were
held at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 15, at the First Baptist Church of
Marthaville. Dr. Troy Wheeler, Rev. Durhl Davis, and Rev.
Clarence Berly officiated. Burial was in the Marthaville
Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of
Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home of Coushatta.

  He died Tuesday, July 13, at the Natchitoches manor Nursing Home
in Natchitoches, after a long illness. Mr. Rawls, a retired
farmer, was born in Marthaville.

  He is survived by one son, Robert Nuel Rawls of Robeline; three
daughters, Ruby Trader of Anaheim, Calif., Bobbie Salley of
Robeline, and Zelda Middleton of Robeline; one brother, N. L.
Rawls of Marthaville; eight grandchildren; seven great
grandchildren.
