Marvin V. (Gabe) Ryals

  Services for Mr. Marvin V. (Gabe) Ryals, 65, of Converse, were
held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 30, 1993, in the First Baptist
Church in Converse. Officiating were Rev. Bob Phillips, and Rev.
James Miller. Interment followed in Converse Cemetery, under the
direction of Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel.

  Mr. Ryals was born in Noble. He was a retired oil field driller,
a veteran, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Converse.
He died Wednesday, April 28, 1993, at DeSoto General Hospital in
Mansfield.

  He is survived by his wife, Dovie Ryals of Converse; one son,
Larry Ryals of Natchitoches; two daughters, Cindy Ryals Fleming
of Bryant, Ark., Eileen Ryals Hines of Pelican; one brother,
Bernard Ryals of Converse; and seven grandchildren.
