Mr. John Oscar Rolen

  John Oscar Rolen, 84, of Many, died in the Rapides General
Hospital in Alexandria on June 22, 1985, at 7 a.m.

  Services were held at the Warren Meadows Chapel on Monday, June
24, at 10 a.m. Rev. J. R. Hammon officiated. Burial was in the
Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

  Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Billie Jean Stuart of
Williamstown, N. J., and Mrs. Betty Jane Lapeyrouse of Many; one
brother, Mr. George Rolen of Morrow, La.; three sisters, Mrs.
Areatha Warner of Winnsboro, Mrs. Bretha Bratton of West Monroe,
and Mrs. Bell Buchans of Jonesboro; ten grandchildren; and four
great grandchildren.
