The Sabine Index - L. J. Ryan

  3 Aug 1956 - Funeral services for L. J. Ryan, 63, of
Gladewater, was held at the Many United Pentecostal church at 2
p.m. Sunday with Rev. Ronnie Johnson, pastor, officiating,
assisted by the Rev. R. T. Bell of Gladewater. Burial was in the
Many cemetery under the direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were O. A. Horn, J. B. Vandegaer, Frank Eason, H.
B. Holland, C. D. Hancock and J. S. Pickett.

  Mr. Ryan died unexpectedly at his home in Gladewater
Friday.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. L. J. Ryan of Gladewater; a
brother, Joe Ryan of Shreveport, and five sisters, Mrs. Sam Holt
of Shreveport, Mrs. B. H. Gargis of Town Creek, Ala., Mrs. R. G.
Risor, Mrs. J. D. Oliver and Miss Rubie Ryan, all of Many.
