The Rev. W. T. Keeling, pastor of Harvest Time Church of Shreveport, officiated. Burial was at Forest Park Cemetery. Mrs. Raney died Monday, August 12, 1985, in Bossier City, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Vernon Parish, La., and had been a resident of Shreveport for thirty years. She was a member of the Assembly of God. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Clarence Raney of Bossier City; one son, Stephen Self of Bossier City; one step son, Harmon Raney of Longborn, Pa.; one daughter, JoAnn Carter of Fort Worth, Texas; one sister, Edna Beltz of Leesville, La.; one brother, Jessie Jones of Hornbeck, La.; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
