Mrs. Pearl Jones Raney

  Services for Mrs. Pearl Jones Raney, 70, of Bossier City, were
held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, August 13, at Rose-Neath's Bossier
Chapel. The Rev. W. T. Keeling, pastor of Harvest Time Church of
Shreveport, officiated. Burial was at Forest Park Cemetery.

  Mrs. Raney died Monday, August 12, 1985, in Bossier City, after
a lengthy illness. She was born in Vernon Parish, La., and had
been a resident of Shreveport for thirty years. She was a member
of the Assembly of God.

  She is survived by her husband, Mr. Clarence Raney of Bossier
City; one son, Stephen Self of Bossier City; one step son, Harmon
Raney of Longborn, Pa.; one daughter, JoAnn Carter of Fort Worth,
Texas; one sister, Edna Beltz of Leesville, La.; one brother,
Jessie Jones of Hornbeck, La.; six grandchildren; three great
grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
