Joseph R. Ryan

  Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 8, for Joseph R. Ryan,
80, of Shreveport, who died Sunday, after a long illness.

  Ryan was a native of Many, and had been a Shreveport resident
for 44 years. He was a retired painter, and was a member of the
Methodist Church.

  The Rev. Nola Amos, pastor of Four Square Gospel Church,
officiated at services at 1 p.m., in Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
Burial was in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery.

  Ryan is survived by one step daughter, Mrs. Juanita Kelly of
Shreveport; and four sisters, Mrs. R. G. Risor, and Miss Ruby
Ryan of Many, Mrs. Bell Holt of Shreveport, and Mrs. Ben Gargis
of Town Creek, Ala.
