Mr. John Edward Rambin, Jr.

  Mr. John Edward Rambin, Jr., 79, of Pelican, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 1999, in Mansfield.

  Mr. Rambin was a retired timber cruiser for International Paper and Walsh Timber Co.

  Funeral services were held at 4 p.m., Monday, Nov. 22, at St. Mary's Catholic Church
in Rambin, with interment following at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Father David Richter,
pastor of St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Zwolle officiated.

  Survivors include his wife, Katherine Joyce Rambin; one brother, Ralph Emerson Rambin
of Rambin; one son, Jesse Powers and wife Kay of Urania; one daughter, Linda Richardson
and husband Ronny of Converse; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Rambin was preceded in death by his parents; several brothers and sisters.
