Mr. Rambin died Wednesday morning, June 4, at his residence, following a lengthy illness. Officiating at the services was Father Yves Robitaille. Burial was in the Rambin Cemetery, under the direction of Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home. A rosary was said at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, June 5, at Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home. He was a retired Merchant, and planter, and a veteran of WWI. Survivors include one son, James Rambin, Jr., Pelican; two daughters, Ethel Aaron, Toledo Bend, and Doris Laffitte, Pelican; one brother, Frank Rambin, Pelican; two sisters, Maggie Rambin, Pelican, and Agnes Inez Rambin, Mansfield; six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
