Johnnie Lee Rains

  Mr. Johnnie Lee Rains, 31, of Shreveport, died Saturday, July 1,
after an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held Monday, July 3, at 2 p.m., in the Mt.
Freedom Baptist Church, with the Rev. J. V. Taylor officiating.
Burial was in the Mt. Freedom Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Surviving relatives are his wife, Peggy Rains of Shreveport; his
mother, Mrs. Bertha Hopkins of Many; one sister, Carolyn Hoffman of
Bossier City; step-father, Howard Hopkins of Many; three
step-brothers, Kenny Hopkins of Florien, Kerry Hopkins of Bossier
City, and Rodney Hopkins of Many.
