The Sabine Index - Isaac Clayton Rains 
  
  11 Dec 1959 - Last rites for Isaac Clayton Rains, age 49, who 
was killed in a car accident Dec. 5, were conducted at 10:30 a.m. 
Dec. 7 at Bayou Scie Baptist church with Rev. Homer Fondren 
officiating, assisted by Rev. Laughlin. Interment was in the 
church cemetery under the direction of Warren Funeral home. 
  
  Pallbearers were Zane Salter, R. J. Adair, Carlton Lehr, Cecil 
Tooke, T. R. Barr and R. L. Cooper. 
  
  Surviving relatives include: wife, Mrs. Lorine Rains of Zwolle; 
sons, Isaac, Jr., Richard and Michael Rains; daughter Lana K. 
Rains, of Zwolle; brothers, Jimmy Rains of Natchitoches, Joe 
Leslie and Clyde Rains, of Zwolle, Louis Rains of El Paso, Texas; 
sisters, Mrs. Edgar Skinner of Zwolle, Mrs. Luther Cooper of 
Silsbee, Texas.
