S. L. Rains

  Funeral services for S. L. Rains of Rocky Springs, were
conducted Monday, Dec. 16, from the Cedar Grove Baptist Church,
with the Rev. G. C. Berly, and the Rev. Travis McCullough
officiating.

  Burial was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Rains died at his residence Dec. 14, at 3:30 p.m., following
a short illness.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Vesta Rains, a son, Rickey
Edward Rains of Haughton; three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Buswell of
Shreveport; Mrs. Nellie Johnson of Minden; and Mrs. Evelyn Riley
of Mississippi; and two grandchildren.
