Isaac Rains

  Isaac "Ike" Rains, 90, of Pleasant Hill, died Sunday, May 4, in
a local hospital.

  The funeral was at 2 p.m., Monday, May 5, in Springridge Baptist
Church, with the Rev. Vernon Stephenson, and the Rev. C. L. Kerns
officiating. Burial was in Springridge Cemetery, under the
direction of Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield.

  Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Breaux of
Lafayett, Mrs. Muriel Boger of New Braunfels, Tex., Mrs. Marie
Lively of Shreveport, and Mrs. Christine Emmons of Leesville; one
son, Malcolm D. Rains of Pleasant Hill, and five grandchildren.
