Delia Mai Rains

  Delia Mai Rains, 93, of Shreveport, died at 1:45 p.m., Thursday,
in Hospitality Care Center, after a long illness.

  A native of Marthaville, she had lived in Shreveport since 1945.
Miss Rains was a retired teacher, and a Baptist.

  The funeral was at 2 p.m., Sunday, in Marthaville Baptist
Church, with the Rev. Clarence Berley, pastor, and the Rev. John
MacAlexander, assistant pastor, officiating. Burial was in Pisgah
Cemetery of Marthaville.

  Survivors include four brothers, Hoyt E. Rains, Roy A. Rains,
and Rolly R. Rains, all of Shreveport, and Ray J. Rains of
Marthaville; and a sister, Mrs. Vera R. Curry of Shreveport.
