Mrs. Marie Rains 
  
  Mrs. Marie Rains, 84, of Marthaville died Sunday, May 21, 2000 
at Willis Knighton North. She was born Sept. 14, 1915 in 
Robeline. 
  
  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 23 at Warren 
Meadows Funeral Home with interment following at Marthaville 
Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Ray Bozernan officiated. 
  
  Survivors include her husband, E. 0. Rains of Marthaville; one 
brother, Jimmy Anders of Robeline; three sons, Delbert Rains and 
friend, Debbie of Mansfield, Joe D. Rains and wife, Beth, of 
Baton Rouge and Ronald Rains and wife, Barbara of Marthaville; 
three sisters, Vester L. Rains, Mildred Alien and Yvonne Osborn, 
all of Robeline; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; one 
great great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. 
Rains was preceded in death by her parents, James Melton Anders 
and Birdie Anders. 
  
  Pallbearers were Jeffery Anders, Wally Byrd, Wesley Greer, 
Dustin Perkins, Darryl Rains, Micky Rains, Zack Richards and 
Johnathon Strahan.
