Lizzie Rains

  Lizzie Rains, 87, of Marthaville, died in Many on Wednesday,
Dec. 15, at 3:25 a.m., following an extended illness.

  Survivors include three sons, DeVance Rains of Robeline, and A.
B. Rains, and E. O. Rains, both of Marthaville; one daughter,
Mrs. Lois Berry of Marthaville; one sister, Mrs. Celest Farmer of
Marthaville; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren, and one
great-great grandchild.

  Funeral services were held in the Rocky Springs Baptist Church
on Thursday, Dec. 16, at 2 p.m., with Brother George Albritton
officiating. Burial was in the Marthaville Cemetery, under the
direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
