Clyde Rains

  Clyde Rains, 63, of Zwolle, died in Many, on Saturday, Feb. 4,
at 12 a.m., following an extended illness.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Muriel Rains of Zwolle; two
sons, Randal R. Rains of Zwolle, and Jack Rains of Calhoun; one
daughter, Mrs. Shirley Greer of Paris, Tex.; two brothers, Louie
Rains of Washington, D. C., and Joe Rains of Zwolle; two sisters,
Mrs. Hazel Skinner of Belmont, and Mrs. Clara Bell Cooper of
Bryan, Tex.; and eight grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held on Sunday, Feb. 5, at 2 p.m., at the
Bayou Scie Methodist Church. The Rev. Ray Spiller officiated.

  Burial was in the Bayou Scie Cemetery, under the direction of
the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
