Rains Services for Mrs. Lola Elizabeth Rains, 45, of Bossier City, were held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, May 13, at Boone Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. B. Landrum of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery. Mrs. Rains died Wednesday, May 10, in Alexandria. She was a native of Belmont, and had lived in Bossier City 28 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include husband, Aswell Rains; father, Floyd Russell of Shreveport; sons, Glenn Rains of Shreveport, and Dale Rains of Baton Rouge; daughters, Debbie McCord of Shreveport, and Ruth Ann Rains of Bossier City; brothers, Rubben Milton of Mansfield, and Herman Milton of Chicago, Ill.; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Willie Allen, M. L. Jackson Jr., Al Fraser, Paul Morris, Robert Dumas, and Hubert Mathis.
