The Sabine Index - Mrs. Margaret Cranford Rains

  7 Feb 1941 - Last rites for Mrs. Margaret Cranford Rains, age 91
years, were held at Spring Ridge last Friday with Rev. Lige
Jennings officiating. Funeral directed by Dennis-Green. Interment
in Spring Ridge cemetery.

  Surviving are one brother, S. B. Cranford, of Arkansas; one
sister, Rhoda Smith, and an adopted daughter, Mildred Coon of
Kansas City, Mo., eight nieces and seven nephews.

  Mrs. Rains made her home with a great-nephew, H. E. Rowe of
Pleasant Hill.
