The Sabine Index - J. Polk Rains

  6 Feb 1942 - Funeral rites for J. Polk Rains, age 56 years, were
held Tuesday at Cedar Grove church at 3 o'clock, Rev. W. M. Muse
and Rev. J. D. Scott officiating, interment Cedar Grove cemetery.

  Surviving are the widow; three children, T. J., Gerald and
Donald; three children from a former wife, sons, Ellis Rains of
Campti, two daughters, Mrs. J. Barifield of Leary, Texas, and
Mrs. Gordon Honeycut of Bentley; one brother, Josplyn; two
sisters, Miss Ella Rains and Mrs. Lizzie Farmer.
