Muriel Nayomie Rains

  Muriel Nayomie Rains, 84, died Friday, Sept. 1, 2000, at Sabine
Medical Center in Many.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 3, at Bayou
Scie Methodist Church, with interment following at Bayou Scie
Cemetery. The Rev. Bonita Davis officiated.

  Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Greer of Paris, Texas;
two sons, Barrett J. Rains of Calhoun, and Randel Rains of
Zwolle; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Muriel Britt, Bill Cathey, Shane Greer, Shane
Moore, Gordy Rains, Rusty Rains, Brett Ruthart, and Michael
Skipper.
