Mrs. Ida Trude Rains

  Services were held for Mrs. Ida Trude Rains, 93, of Ball, at 2
p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 24, at the First Baptist Church of
Marthaville. Officiating were the Rev. W. D. Carson, Rev. Bill
Gordon, and Rev. Charles Moore. Burial was at the Marthaville
Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Hixson Bros.
Funeral Home of Pineville.

  She died at 4:20 p.m., on Monday, Feb. 22, in her home. Mrs.
Rains, a native of Many, was a resident of Ball, and a member of
the First Baptist Church of Marthaville.

  Mrs. Rains is survived by two sons, Rascoe Rains of Leesville,
and Rodolph "Shorty" Rains of Bossier City; two daughters, Mrs.
Maude Wyatt of Marthaville, and Mrs. Estelle Thibodeaux of Ball;
eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great
grandchild.
