Emma Alice Rains

  Services for Mrs. Emma Alice Rains, 101, of Marthaville, were
held at 3 p.m., Sunday, April 3, at Marthaville Methodist Church.
The Rev. Abe Connerly, and the Rev. Gerald Bishop officiated.
Burial was in the Marthaville Cemetery.

  She died at 8 p.m., Friday, April 1, 1983, at Schumpert Medical
Center in Shreveport. After an extended illness. Mrs. Rains was a
native and life long resident of Marthaville. Survivors include
one daughter, Miss Mary Alice Rains of Marthaville; numerous
nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were nephews.
