Mrs. Laverna Currie Ramsey

  Graveside services for Mrs. Laverna Currie Ramsey, 85, of Ft.
Worth, were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 3, in Wallace Cemetery
near Mansfield, under the direction of Shannon's North Chapel in
Ft. Worth.

  Mr. Ramsey, a native of Boline, La., died Thursday morning, Oct.
1, 1987, in Fort Worth, following a lengthy illness. She retired
as Postmaster of Pleasant Hill, La., in 1953.

  Survivors included two sons, Ray F. Ramsey, Harold D. Ramsey;
one daughter, Mrs. Wanda R. O'Kelly of Ft. Worth; one sister,
Mrs. Mozelle C. Engard of Baltimore, Md.; eight grandchildren;
and 13 great grandchildren.
