Travis Doyle Rains, Sr.

  Funeral services for Mr. Travis Doyle Rains Sr., 52, were held
at 3 p.m., Thursday, March 5, at Bayou Scie Baptist Church, with
Rev. Joe Ratcliff officiating. Interment followed in the Bayou
Scie Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Mr. Rains died at his residence in Many.

  He is survived by one daughter, Lois Elizabeth Rains of Many;
one son, Travis Doyle Rains Jr. of Many, and his wife Renee; one
grandson, Tad Doyle Rains; his father, Gordon H. Rains and his
wife Madaline Rains of Pleasant Hill; two sisters, Peggy Hanson,
and Shirley Murphy; three nephews, Danny Roberts, Marty Vaughn,
Regie Murphy; one niece, Randy Sue Murphy; aunts, uncles,
cousins, and many friends.
