Theo Rains

  Funeral services for Theo Rains, 95, of Many, were held at 10
a.m., Dec. 27, at the Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel.

  The Rev. H. H. Tibbits officiated. Burial was in Pisgah
Cemetery.

  Mr. Rains died on Dec. 25, at the Sabine Medical Center. He was
preceded in death by his wife, Nell Rains of over 50 years. He
was retired from Texaco, with over 50 years service.

  Survivors are three daughters, Melba Rains Bartschmid of Austin,
Tex., Betty Rains Rogers of Westlake, and Nelwyn Rains Stuart of
Metairie; one son, Ted E. Rains of Golden, Colo.; 13
grandchildren, Betty R. Bartschmid, Albert H. Bartschmid III, Joe
L. Rogers, Patricia Fox, John P. Stuart, Charles Stuart, Annell
Stuart, R. Bruce Stuart, Lora Alexa Stuart, Douglas Stuart,
Rebecca Rains Sopkin, Cora Rains, and Jonathan Rains; 12 great
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were the grandsons.
