Mrs. Leila Orene Rains

  Mrs. Leila Orene Rains, 81, of Pleasant Hill, died Wednesday,
Sept. 2, at her residence.

  She was a homemaker and mother.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 3, at
Spring Ridge Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill, with interment
following at Spring Ridge Cemetery. The Rev. Pat Cobb, pastor of
Emmanuel Baptist Church in Mansfield, officiated.

  Survivors include her husband, Nolan Rains of Pleasant Hill; two
sons, Dale Rains and wife Joyce of Many, and Randal Nolan Rains
and wife Sandra of Haughton; one daughter-in-law, Bettie Rains of
Pleasant Hill; one granddaughter, Sue Leach and husband Dan of
Shreveport; four grandsons, Jerry E. "Butch" Rains and wife
Debbie of Pleasant Hill, Doug Rains and wife Kim, and Mike Rains,
all of Haughton, and Kenneth Rains and wife Renee of Robeline;
and a host of great grandchildren. Mrs. Rains was preceded in
death by one son, Jerry E. Rains; and one granddaughter, Brenda
Kay Rains.
