Mrs. Mary Rains

  Mrs. Mary Rains, 91, of Many, died Friday, Oct. 14, in Many,
after an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held in Warren Meadows Chapel, Sunday,
Oct. 16, with the Rev. Willis Greer, and the Rev. H. H. Tibbitts
officiating. Burial was in the Pisgah Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include six sons, Roy Rains, Alvin Rains, and Elmer
Rains, all of Shreveport, Boyd Rains of Natchitoches, and Conley
Rains, and Claude Rains, both of Marthaville; one daughter, Mrs.
Maggie Golden of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. Lollie Horn of
Shreveport, and Mrs. Mable Moore of Pleasant Hill; 17
grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Devance Rains, J. P. Rains, Hubert Varnell,
Jerry Salter, Dale Phillips, and James Berry.
