Ivory Dixon Rains

  Last rites for Ivory Dixon Rains, age 84, who passed away Oct.
10, at his home in Many, were conducted at the Many First Baptist
Church at 2 p.m., Oct. 12, with Rev. Kelly Fitzgerald
officiating. Interment was in Marthaville Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Funeral Home, with Masonic rites at the
graveside.

  Pallbearers were T. M. Phillips, Eldon Dees, D. D. Thedford, S.
M. Taylor, Lester Veuleman, and Truett Walden.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Dixon Rains of Many; daughters,
Mrs. Elvie Campbell of Marthaville, Mrs. Argerine Taylor of Many;
nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

  Mr. Rains was a retired hotel operator.
