  Services were conducted at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, Hwy
80 East, Bossier City/Haughton, for Mrs. Alice "Marie" Rankin,
64, of Haughton, La., Thursday, August 26, 1993, at 10 a.m.
Officiating was Msgr. Carson LaCaze of Holy Rosary Catholic
Church. Interment was at Hill Crest Memorial Park.

  She entered into rest Monday, August 23, 1993, at Bossier
Medical Center. Mrs. Rankin was a native of Zwolle, La., and
lived in Bossier Parish for over 30 years.

  She is survived by G. W. "Buck" Goines of Haughton; a daughter,
Sandra R. Davis of Bossier City; three sons, Charles E. Rankin
Jr. and Kenneth L. Rankin, both of Haughton, and Michael C.
Rankin of Bossier City, La.; two sisters, Eva Walters of Zwolle,
and Lucy Adcock of Shreveport; five step daughters; and a number
of grandchildren.

  Visitation was Wednesday, from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m., at the
funeral home.
