Bertie Lee Remedes

  Bertie Lee Remedes, 77, of Zwolle died Thursday, Dec. 23, 1999 at
Willis-Knighton Medical Center.

  Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 27 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with
Father David Richter officiating. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery in
Zwolle.

  Mrs. Remedes, who was born on April 26, 1922 in Zwolle, was preceded in death
by her husband, Louis Remedes, and a son, Charles Stephen Remedes.

  Survivors include three daughters, Phillis Samples, Lois Sepulvado and Mary
J. Sepulvado, all of Zwolle; two sons, Joseph Remedes and Louis Remedes Jr.
both of Zwolle; three sisters, Lucinda Layton and Elvie Leone, both of
Shreveport, and Clara Remedes of Zwolle; 16 grandchildren and 36
great-grandchildren.
