Phyllis Amber Remedies 
  
  Phyllis Amber Remedies, 9, of Many, died at Shreveport, Sunday, 
Jan. 21, after a short illness. 
  
  Funeral services were held at St. John Catholic Church in Many, 
Tuesday, Jan. 23, at 2 p.m., with the Msgr. T. J. Lennon 
officiating. 
  
  Interment was in the St. John Cemetery, under the direction of 
Warren Meadows Funeral Home. The rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m., 
Monday, Jan. 22 
  
  Phyllis was a fourth-grade student at St. John's School. 
  
  Survivors are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Remedies of 
Many; two brothers, James and Rodney Remedies of Many; two 
sisters, Pamela and Kay Remedies of Many; her maternal 
grandmother, Mrs. Retha Grantham of Belmont, and her paternal 
grandfather, Hildo Remedies Sr. of Many.
