John Remedies

  John Remedies, 78, of Zwolle, died in Many on Tuesday, March 5,
at 7;10 p.m., following an extended illness.

  Remedies is survived by three daughters, Nancy Parrie of Zwolle,
Patsy Romero of Lafayette, and Shirley Lowe of Ft. Meyers, Fla.;
one step-daughter, Elaine Higgins of Doyline; two brothers, Steve
Remedies, and Joe Remedies, both of Zwolle; and 16 grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church of
Zwolle on Friday, March 8, at 10 a.m., with the Msgr. Robert C.
Friend officiating.

  Burial was in the St. Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of
the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Bob Remedies, Billy Ray Martinez, Raymond
Remedies, Frank Remedies, Homer Martinez, and Frankie Higgins.
