Fred B. Remedies

  Fred B. Remedies, 62, died Sunday, in an Alexandria hospital.

  Services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, in the Palestine Baptist
Church in DeRidder, with the Rev. Loen Williamson officiating.
Bural was to be in Palestine Cemetery, under the direction of
Hixson Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ernest W. Remedies of Ft.
Hood, Tex., and Harold W. Remedies of Oakdale; three daughters,
Mrs. Shirley Boyd of Bronson, Tex., Mrs. Ada M. Simmons of
Sugartown, and Mrs. Aline Bebee of Pitkin; four half brothers,
Gene Rivers of Zwolle, Joe Rivers, Andrew Rivers, and Melvin
Rivers, all of Silbee two half sisters, Mrs. Clara Garcia, and
Mrs. Jeanie Garcia, both of Zwolle, and 11 grandchildren.
