Lucy Remedies

  Lucy Remedies, 73, of Zwolle, died in Many on Saturday, Nov. 5,
at 2:15 a.m., following an extended illness.

  Survivors include her husband, Vick Remedies of Zwolle; one son,
Martin O. Garcie of Zwolle; two daughters, Hazel Malmay, and
Trudy Parrie, both of Zwolle; 8 brothers, Bill Parrie, Wesley
Martinez, Bob Meshell, Hosea Meshell, Wilson Meshell, and Walter
Meshell, all of Zwolle, Floyd Meshell of Shreveport, and Bush
Meshell of DeQuincy; two sisters, Ada Remedies, and Edna Meshell,
both of Zwolle; two step sisters, Elva Parrie of Zwolle, and
Estelle Harrington of Clarksdale, Miss.; 6 grandchildren, and 14
great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Memorial Baptist Church on
Sunday, Nov. 6, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Walker Ledford, and the
Rev. H. H. Tibbitts officiating. Burial was in the Zwolle
Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
