Survivors include four sons, Levi Remedies of Many, J. C. Remedies of Belmont, Alfred Remedies of West Monroe, and Jim Toby of Many; four daughters, Mrs. Josephine Bolton, Mrs. Henrietta Bush, and Mrs. Nancy Bruce, all of Many, and Mrs. Wilma Brown of Orange, Tex.; seven brothers, George Remedies, Joe Remedies, Emmitt Remedies, Jack Remedies, Francis Remedies, Tony Remedies, and Bush Remedies, all of Many; a sister, Pearl Remedies of Many; 38 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. A rosary was said Tuesday evening, at 7 p.m. Funeral services were held at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Many, on Wednesday, Jan. 18, at 4 p.m. Father Gustave Bergeron officiated. Burial was in the St. John Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
