Mrs. Susan Remedies

  Mrs. Susan Remedies, 87, died in Natchitoches, Thursday, Aug. 7,
at 10 a.m.

  Survivors include five sons, Floyd Falcon, John B. Remedies,
Joseph D. Remedies, and Albert Remedies, all of Zwolle, and James
Remedies of Waco, Tex.; two daughters, Josie Wooley of Zwolle,
and Ethel Stroud of Bakersfield, Calif.; one brother, Abram
Longoria of Merryville, Tex.; four sisters, Maggie Quantos of
Houston, Tex., Evie Ezernack of Zwolle, Lucy Meshell of
Mansfield, and Lilly Procell of Shreveport; 35 grandchildren; 38
great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 9, at St. Joseph's
Catholic Church, at 2 p.m., with Father Patrick Scully
officiating. Burial followed in the Old Zwolle Cemetery. Warren
Meadows Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
