Lettie Ledean Remedies

  Lettie Ledean Remedies, 70, of Zwolle, died Saturday, Oct 28,
2000, at Toledo Nursing Center. She was born Jan. 31, 1930, in
Simpson.

  Graveside services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 31, at
Mitchell Cemetery. The Rev. Daniel Lowe, and Mr. Joe Remedies
officiated.

  Survivors include her husband, Hosea Remedies of Zwolle; two
daughters, Katherine and husband Pee Wee Mayes of Stonewall, and
Geraldine and husband John Brewer, Stasuma, Ala.; four sisters,
Bonnie Slaydon of Texas, Ruby Wixon of Shreveport, Delores
Kleinknight of Sulphur, and Dovie Bourque of Lake Charles; one
brother, Birchard Corley of DeQuincy; two grandsons, Wallis Mayes
of Shreveport, and Brian Isiah Brewer and wife Stephanie of
Stasuma, Ala.; one granddaughter, Shannon Valerie Holley and
husband Ardis of Chunchula, Ala.; three great grandsons, Michael
Ardis Halley of Chunchula, Ala., and Gary Marcus Brewer Jr., and
Gage Isiah Brewer, both of Stasuma, Ala.
