John A. Remedies (Photo)

  Funeral services for Mr. John A. Remedies were held Feb. 17,
1989, at 11 a.m., at the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial
followed in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Father Walsh officiated.

  Mr. Remedies passed away Feb. 16, in Shreveport, at the age of
62.

  Survivors include one son, Johnny Ray Remedies, Zwolle; two
daughters, Carolyn Foster, and Doris Ezernack, both of Zwolle;
two stepchildren, Joseph Parrie, and Robert Parrie of Zwolle; one
brother, Hosea B. Remedies, Zwolle; six sisters, Dorothy Harper
of Dallas, Tex., Elvira Huffman of Miller, Mo., Mary Mouser,
Keatchie, La., Pauline Longoria, Ruby Parrie, Mattie Sepulvado;
and eleven grandchildren.

  Funeral services were under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.
