Georgia (Girl) Wilson Remedies

  Funeral services for Mrs. Georgia (Girl) Wilson Remedies, 72, of
Zwolle, were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 2, in the Warren
Meadows Chapel. Interment followed in the Zwolle Cemetery, under
the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. Vernon
Stephenson officiated.

  Mrs. Remedies died Wednesday, Feb. 27, at the Sabine Medical
Center in Many.

  She is survived by her husband, Fred Remedies of Zwolle; two
daughters and sons-in-law, Dorothy and James Matlock, and
Charlotte and John Martinez, all of Zwolle; two foster daughters,
Jessie Mae Battarbee and her husband Floyd, and Mary Martinez and
her husband Lonnie; two brothers, Willis Coddington and his wife
Lorene of Eudora, Arkansas, and Gene Coddington and his wife Mary
of Lafayette; three sisters, Odell Barringer of DeMott, Arkansas,
Mary Garner and her husband John of Delhi, Betty Jo Rains and her
husband Russell of DeMott, Arkansas; one aunt, Auska Roberts of
Warren, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, James T. Matlock III,
Debbie Matlock Ledford, Donna Matlock, Kelly Martinez, Corina
Martinez, John Allen Martinez, Glen Patrick Martinez; seven great
grandchildren, Eric Matlock, Adam Matlock, Marcus Matlock, Mason
Matlock, Joshua Matlock, Lacy Ledford, and Briney Ledford; and a
host of nieces and nephews.

  Members of the D.A.V. served as pallbearers.
