J. C. Remidez

  Funeral services for Mr. J. C. Remidez, 61, were held at 10
a.m., Monday, April 22, at Belmont Baptist Church. Interment
followed in the Belmont Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. Johnny Garrett officiated.

  Mr. Remidez died April 20, at Sabine Medical Center in Many.

  He is survived by his wife, Barbara Remidez of Belmont; one
daughter, Jayla and husband Billy Brooks of Florien; one brother,
Sam Remidez of West Monroe; four sisters, Nancy Rodrigues, Pete
Bush, Josephine Solice, all of Many, and Wilma Brown of Sulphur;
and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers include Ernest Rodrigues, Charlie Bush, Chuck
Remidez Sonny Farrah, Red Busterment, Marty Knowles, Billy Maxey,
and Jimmy Peterson.
