Services were held on Friday, April 22, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Zwolle, with Father Danny Walsh officiating. Interment was at the church cemetery. Mr. Remedies is survived by seven daughters, Marie Remedies of Florien, Juanita Roy of Bossier, Sallie Joyce of Bloomington, Calif., Patsy Miller of Blanchard, La., Elizabeth Bennett of Pineville, Stella Lively of Shreveport, and Carolyn Quint of Irving, Tex.; two sons, Walter Earl Remedies of Huffman, Tex., and Claude Ray Remedies of Marthaville; three brothers, Joe Remedies of Many, Jack Remedies of Zwolle, and George Remedies of Many; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other friends and relatives. Mr. Remedies was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline; and by a daughter, Theresa Jack. Pallbearers were Chris Miller, Gordy Bennett, Joseph Remedies, Kevin Remedies, Thomas Remedies, and Daniel Bennett. Honorary pallbearers were Benji Remedies, and Jonathon Quint.
