George Remedies

  Funeral services for George Remedies, 88, were held at 11 a.m.,
November 21, at St. John's Catholic Church.

  Msgr. Norman Buvens officiated. Interment was at St. John's
Cemetery.

  Mr. Remedies passed away on November 18, 1994, at Sabine Medical
Center.

  Mr. Remedies was born June 20, 1906, in Zwolle, to Hosey and
Sally Sepulvado Remedies. He was married to Susan Edwards on
December 23, 1926, in Zwolle. Mr. Remedies was a retired Logging
Cutter in the Timber Industry.

  Survivor include seven sons, Ben L. Remedies of Many, John W.
Remedies of Keithville, Luke Gene Remedies of Robeline, Robert J.
Remedies of Florence, South Carolina, Gerald W. Remedies of
Stonewall, Thomas L. Remedies, and Lawrence S., Remedies, both of
DeQuincy; five daughters, Ardell Root of Bossier City, Verline
Melton of Benton, Mary Brock, Theresa Wildes, and Dorothy
Schevers, all of Shreveport; two brothers, Joe Remedies of Many,
and Jack Remedies of Zwolle; and a host of grandchildren, great
grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
